It is the archivist’s responsibility
- to respond to inquires for information from church records to provide information and support to researchers needing to access Regional Council records.
- to disseminate information for congregations and for researchers created by the General Council Committee ensuring that unique elements of the Nakonha:ka Regional Council are incorporated and to make this information accessible through the Council web-site.
- to ensure that records to be deposited are filed with the appropriate repository – Archives Nationales du Quebec (BANQ) or the Eastern Townships Research Centre.
Civil Register Inquiries:
Fill in the Civil Register Request Form and return with payment and proof of identification.
