In addition to having been pastor of Église Unie Saint-Jean from 1987 to 1992, Jacques Labadie held various positions of responsibility within Consistoire Laurentian, of which he was president in 1989-90.
Jacques Labadie, who had to end his ministry for health reasons, loved his job as a pastor and adored people. His colleague and supervisor in Saint-Jean had found the right words to describe him: “[Jacques] has become a friend to parishioners of all generations and his calm and confident presence leaves us the lasting testimony of a deeply evangelical faith, while being resolutely open to the world in which we are called to put faith into practice. ”
You will find a more complete biography of Jacques on the Église Unie Saint-Jean website at: https://www.egliseuniesaintjean.org/le-mot-du-pasteur/
