Regional Council Gathering-March 2022
March 11, 2022 @ 6:30 pm - March 12, 2022 @ 12:30 pm

The theme of upcoming Regional Council meetings (in March, June and November 2022) will be based on the new call and vision statements of the United Church of Canada: https://united-church.ca/community-and-faith/welcome-united-church-canada/our-call-and-our-vision.
The March gathering will focus on bold discipleship. Rev. Wendy Evans will be our guest speaker, offering some reflections and opportunities to engage with questions of how faith and environment intersect.
There will be a pre-meeting learning opportunity on Wednesday, February 23 to view a video prepared by United Property Resource Corporation (UPRC) and share discussions about the stewardship of property in the context of our ministries. Learn more and register for this event at: https://nakonhakaucc.ca/event/online-learning-opportunity-uprc-and-property-stewardship/
REMINDER – Presentations and reports
Leadership teams are each asked to prepare a clear, concise and uplifting 5-minute presentation about how their team is living into bold discipleship. (Since timing will be strictly observed, preparing a script and rehearsing the presentation is highly recommended.) Presentations are due before March 9.
Written reports (maximum 1.5 pages) from leadership teams for the annual report book should be submitted to Joel Miller by February 14, 2022 at jmiller@united-church.ca.

ACTIVITY SHEET
Some people find it easier to concentrate or to reflect more deeply when they have an activity to keep their hands busy during an online meeting. Hoping that this activity sheet prepared by Shanna Bernier will help you engage in creative ways with our theme of Bold Discipleship.
When you are done, feel free to snap a photo of your completed sheet and send it to jcoffin@united-church.ca to create a shared collage.
