Community Celebrations: Every Ramadan since 2016, our Muslim community has been warmly welcomed at St. James United to celebrate this sacred month. And this year was no exception. For International Women's Rights Day on March 8th, we highlighted a reality that is often overlooked: the challenges faced by migrant women in Quebec: double discrimination: those linked to their gender and those linked to their migratory status, which is often precarious and dependent on their family or marital situation.
